Thursday June 17th is the correct date for Public Meeting re: Kingsview Drive
Regarding: Possible Traffic Calming Measures and Additional Sidewalks on Kingsview Drive in Bolton
The notice from the Town, about the meeting above, that you should have received in your mailbox this week, has an error with respect to the date. The correct date is Thursday June 17th (not Tuesday as stated in the notice). I’ve let the Town know about the error and they will be sending out a correction to eliminate any chance of confusion.
In the event you didn’t receive the notice here are the other details:
Time 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness, 14111 Regional Road 50 North, Bolton
Note: There are no formal presentations planned but you will be able to view displays, ask questions, and provide comments.
Personally, at this time I do not support investing in traffic calming measures on Kingsview Drive.
However, sidewalks may be a reasonable and necessary addition to accomodate student and other foot traffic.
Valerie, thanks for taking the time to let me know your position. If you have the opportunity you should consider attending on the 17th as well.
