Getting rid of the nasties
Tomorrow, Saturday June 26th, you can bring your hazardous waste (such as paint and oil), pesticides, indoor cleaning products, used CFL bulbs, propane tanks, etc to ecoCaledon’s Chemical Exchange Day at the Bolton Community Recycling Centre at 109 Industrial Road in Bolton. You can drop off your stuff – empty, full, or obsolete – anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In exchange for your stewardship you’ll receive a new CFL bulb and recycle bags (come early as giveaways are limited). You’ll also be entered into a draw for one of 3 great prizes – first prize, a wheelbarrow full of gardening supplies – second prize, a basket of non-toxic indoor cleaning products – third prize, a rainbarrel from ecoCaledon. It’s the perfect chance to get rid of the nasties…..
