Caledon’s Green Hero
March 13, 2011
A friend, Palgrave dentist Richard Ehrlich, has just been chosen as recipient of the Green Hero award by the folks who run the Earth Hour Lantern Walk in Woodbridge.
Richard regularly runs, bikes or skis to work and has greened his dental practise by adding solar panels and energy-efficient lighting and more.
Richard and his wife Barb confirm that green initiatives have saved them money in addition to helping the environment.
Sounds like a win/win to me!

Such a deserving recipient! Richard was also the guy who wrote up all the paperwork to get the battery recycling program underway here in Caledon way back years ago when EcoCaledon was the Citizens for a Clean Caledon. Besides being such a great proponent of green initiatives, he is just an all around great guy! Good on you Richard!
Agreed! Richard and Barb are wonderful advocates for greener living!
